About Us

In 1945, B.D. Polston acquired a building supply service which adjoined his Polston Flooring Manufacturing Corporation located at 905 Red Boiling Springs Road in Lafayette.  Mr. Polston began offering area contractors basic and modern supplies for construction.

The business grew rapidly over the subsequent decades expanding its product line, increasing its inventory, and epitomizing their famous slogan, "everything from the foundation to the roof." 

Tony Polston joined his father in 1972, and grandson Matt continued the tradition when he became a partner in 2003.

For over 80 years, B.D. Polston and Son Builders Supply has remained true to the ideals of its original founder: dedication to providing the utmost customer service and offering quality products.
